WHO WE ARE

Project Change International, Inc. is a nonprofit organization registered in Liberia and in the United States. The primary mission is carried out in Liberia, while the U.S. branch oversees its operations and is responsible for fundraising. Project Change's mission is to educate the young men and women of Liberia on the importance of self-sustainability, and most importantly the necessary measures that need to be taken for the nation to become a land that sustains its people. Project Change aims to eradicate the dependent mentality fostered in the Liberian youth due to the country's 14 years of brutal civil war amongst many other economic challenges like the Ebola epidemic in 2014. We believe that a productive and sustainable future for Liberia is attainable, and we accomplish our mission by educating and equipping Liberia's next generation to become self-sufficient individuals. The organization has almost three years of youthful and impactful experience since its establishment in 2019.

The organization's mission is, in a way, a twofold mission. Firstly, to educate the youth, then facilitate the changemaking process by investing in institutions and facilities that will help groom the youth to become productive members of the society. We educate the youth on self-sustainability through our bi-annual paradigm-shifting Changemakers' Workshops and Conferences. The workshops aim to help high school students understand their responsibility in society and their collective role in rebuilding a self-sustaining Liberia. The bi-annual conferences are targeted at youth organizations and their leaders with the primary objective to train better leaders who can effectively manage their people and resources. Ultimately, the organization seeks to aid these aspiring youth organizations to align their mission in rebuilding a "whole Liberia," or a Liberia where each sector of the society operates at an optimum degree.

We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to cultivating a team that reflects the rich diversity of the population we serve. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or domestic partner status, veteran status, medical condition, mental or physical disability which would not prevent the performance of essential job duties without reasonable accommodation.
