our background
The Prince L. Jarbo Foundation, or JARF for short, is incorporated with the government of the Republic of Liberia as a nonprofit entity. Since its establishment, JARF, Inc. has established Project Change and implemented several programs and initiatives tailored to both the youth and older adults across many regions in Liberia. Its sub-organization, Project Change, is a youth-led organization based in Liberia.
Project Change's mission is to groom self-sustaining youth to help rebuild a productive Liberia after the country's 14-year of brutal civil conflict. The foundation is also undertaking some initiatives, like its Volunteers Action Network or VAN, which when fully established, will engage the mission of training and developing young Liberians to live a life of servanthood to our beloved Liberia.
We focus on the good not because we are fearful of the bad, but because we want to gain the mental momentum needed to handle the bad. Because productivity will never be the outcome of negativity.
- Prince L. Jarbo
